Welcome to the sanctuary for youngsters! This is a place where you can express yourself, dance, meet other young people like me, learn circus skills, and theatre or cinema techniques. In short, loads of stuff that you'll like. And to say that this Youth Centre was started in the 1990s with just a small space of 25 m2 before moving here ! I'm really happy that we are in this large building now. By the way, did you see that giant octopus on the front of the building? It's a work of art by the Parisian street artist Vincent Glowinsky, I think it's really good. Now I know what activity I'm going to do here: the graffiti workshop! See you all later!

To see
A work by the Parisian street artist Vincent Glowinsky representing a giant octopus on the front of the building. “The artist wanted to represent young people who, in a straight and upright society, remain flexible and use all possible means - from where the tentacles come - to learn and discover the world that surrounds them”, says one of the Youth Centre leader
The little extra
The town of Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve is one of the rare towns in the French community to have two youth centres. The other youth centre, known as the “Centre Nerveux“ (The Nerve Centre) is in Ottignies.
