The Woods of the Righteous are located on the border with Avenue des Justes not far from the town center of Ottignies.  

There are 1709 trees (385 oaks, 352 birches, 180 cherry woods and 173 beeches) on the 5 ha 53 of the site.  The woods present a diversity of tree species and woodland periphery, which is interesting from a biodiversity point of view.  There one observes some dead trees, quite interesting from a natural point of view. 

Dead trees, quite interesting from a natural point of view, can be observed here.  The woods have various paths and trails that are closely marked allowing residents to know where they are walking (the forest code forbids walking off of the paths).
